Texas Medal of Honor Memorial

The first monument at the Texas State Cemetery to honor a large group of people in the modern era is the Medal of Honor Monument, which serves as a focal point in the center of the Cemetery grounds. This monument was installed in 1999 and since then, many other monuments have joined it to honor Texans who served the state through military or civic service.
