Virginia Maxine Roco Bomer

BOMER, VIRGINIA MAXINE ROCO (1925~2001) Virginia "Ginny" Bomer, wife of Elton L. Bomer, was born in Houston, Texas, to Rudolph and Ethel Roco, on November 10, 1925. Growing up in Houston, she attended Reagan High School, where she was drum major for the school's Redcoat Band. As a teen, she performed as a soloist for the Jimmy Dorsey Band. After high school, Mrs. Bomer worked as a model for Nieman Marcus in Houston and as an office administrator for an insurance company. In 1964, she married her husband of 37 years, Elton Bomer. Together, they had two children and three grandchildren.
