HARDIN, MATTIE EDDOSS (1857~1944) Mattie Eddowes Hardin was born on September 15, 1857 in Lavaca County, Texas. She was born to her father Edwin Eddowes, and her mother Mattie. She married Joe Hardin. Mattie had six children. They were J. C. Hardin, W. L. Hardin, Mrs. Nora Boyd, and Mrs. Lizzie Inman. The other two children were sons Joe and John. Mattie died on March 21, 1944 and was buried on March 22, 1944.
