SHAW, MARY BUCKNER (1901 ~ 1994). Mary Buckner Shaw was born on August 1, 1901 in Moody, McLennan County, Texas to Thomas J. and Adella Hatter Buckner.

She received her B. A. Degree and her M. B. A. degrees in 1929 from The University of Texas at Austin. She was a business teacher at Moody High School. She also taught at Waco High School, Waco and at Hockaday School in Dallas.

She was an Assistant Professor in the School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin and was a Charter Member of the Austin Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School and the Missionary Group for over 20 years. She was a Past President of Rho Anns, she and her husband were Paul Harris Fellows.

She died on August 26, 1994 in Austin, Texas at the age of 93.
