MORRIS, MARTHA HARRIS (1847 ~ 1938). Confederate widow Martha Morris was born on December 9, 1847 in Alabama. She was born to Daniel Harris and Martha Jane White of Georgia.

She married Confederate veteran William Henry Morris who served in Co. I, Third Texas Infantry. The two had one child named Eddie Morris.

Martha Morris died in October of 1938 and was buried at the Texas State Cemetery.
