Jeannie P. Bridge was born on December 23, 1852 in Louisiana. She was born to John K. Routh of Louisiana and Margaret Smith Williams of New Orleans, Louisiana. Jeannie married Robert Berry Bridge. Robert joined from Louisiana in Louisiana Guard Baattery Regiment in Capt. Green's Louisiana Artillery Brigade. He was paroled at Lynchburg, Virginia on April 13, 1865. Jeannie had three children S. P. Bridge, Robert B. Bridge, and Mrs. Thomas D. James. Jeannie entered the Confederate Women's Home on December 30, 1934 from San Antonio, Texas. She died in 1936 at the age of 84 years, 2 months, and 4 days."
