STROMBERGER, ERNEST NELSON (1939 ~ ). Ernest Nelson Stromberger was born in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas on October 4, 1939. He attended Alamo Heights High School and Tulane University.

He worked as a news reporter for the Associated Press and the Dallas Times Herald. He also worked as Director of Public Relations for the State Bar of Texas, Director of Research for the State Board of Insurance, and the Director of Communications for the John Hill for Governor campaign. Currently he works as the Director of Public Relations and Executive Director for the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas. He has served in that position since 1979.

Stromberger has also served as President, member and Secretary of the Board of Governors for the Headliners Club and Foundation of Austin. He is a Certified Association Executive for the American Society of Association Executives and an accredited advisor in insurance for the Insurance Institute of America.
