ANDERSON, ELIZABETH SHORT (1859 ~ 1944). Confederate widow Elizabeth Short Anderson was born on November 23, 1859 in Coryell County, Texas. She was born to A. B. Short of Mississippi and Malinda Clark.

She married Confederate veteran Alfred W. Anderson of Texas.

Elizabeth entered the Confederate Woman's Home on August 29, 1942 from Austin, Texas. She died on August 15, 1944 at the age of 84 years, 8 months, 8 days in Austin, Texas.
