MONTFORD, DEBRA KAY MEARS (1952 ~ ). Debra Kay Mears Montford was born in Littlefield, Lamb County, Texas to Claude Melvin and Ruby Elmisa Randolph Mears on December 26, 1952.

Debra Montford is the spouse of John Montford, multi-term legislator and former Texas Tech University Chancellor.

Mrs. Montford graduated from Friona High School and attended Texas Tech Univeristy and the University of Texas at Austin. Mrs. Montford is currently a community volunteer.
