Annie M. Eubank Rimes

RIMES, ANNIE M. EUBANK (1861 ~ 1936). Anna Rimes was born on August 19, 1861. She was born to W. H. Eubank and Elmira Barnes both of Virginia.

She married Anthony Moon and they had two children W. H. Moon and J. E. Moon. She married her second husband Judge B. W. Rimes in 1890. B. W. Rimes served in Capt. Townsend's Regiment, Fourth Regiment, Hood's Brigade and was discharged at Appomattox, Virginia.

He was among the first men in the State of Texas to respond to the call for troops and he was with Lee at the surrender.

Anna Rimes entered the Confederate Home on June 26, 1922 from Fort Worth, Texas. She died on March 8, 1936 and was buried at the Texas State Cemetery.
