MORRISS, AMANDA (1852 ~ 1921). Amanda Morris, wife of Confederate veteran George Washington Morriss, was born in 1852 in Austin County, Texas.

Little is known of her life, however.

She died October 27, 1921 and was buried at the Texas State Cemetery.
