COLLEY, AMANDA M. (1857~1936) Amanda M. Colley was born on July 5, 1857 in Hopkins County, Texas. She was born to Lorenza Don Tankersley and Nancy Sykes both of Missouri. She married James L. Collie. Amanda entered the Confederate Woman's Home on September 8, 1930 from the Connfederate Men's Home. She died on June 21, 1936 at the age of 78 years, 11 months, 6 days in Austin, Texas."
